Terence "MF" Thomas is a 4x Emmy award-winning Director + Cinematographer born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He grew up in the Coney Island section of Brooklyn, at a time when the arts had not penetrated the minds of his community. It wasn't until after high school that Terence discovered his passion for photography which opened his mind & eye for film and birthed the name “MF” [MAN-U-ALL FOCUS] inspired by one’s ability to be driven. He committed himself to film and learned all aspects of how to tell stories.
During his career, he has been the founding member of the video team of two successful online publications, Elite Daily and Overtime. At Elite Daily, he was the lead cinematographer for all documentary work and collected 4 Emmy Awards for his visual storytelling. At Overtime, MF trained and hired a full video staff and created multiple viral series for the outlet. Their instagram grew from 100,000 when he joined the company to 3 million presently.
On any project, MF brings a range of expertise from his 10+ years in the field, incorporating all aspects of production and post-production. He has a unique aesthetic and has unmatched attention to detail that can meld to support any organization's vision.
Currently, MF resides in Brooklyn with his brand new daughter and is developing his own creative projects while taking on new freelance partnerships.
